Getting all your ducks in a row for a baby can be a daunting task if you haven't done this before, and sometimes even if you have.

I can help there with guiding you through your labour plans and talking about complications, interventions and other things that may come up while you are labouring at home and in the hospital.

Basic Package Visit

We will meet in your home, where you are your most comfortable. Firstly, we will go over your birth preferences and priorities and get to know you (and your partner if applicable) better. Once through that we will move onto the information part of the meeting, going over how to prepare your mind and body, how to most support yourself through labour, and tools to use during labour to speak up and be in control of your birth. Worksheets will be provided for reference.

Hand to hold and Whole Shebang Package

We do everything that we would do in the basic package but we add on another visit to check in at around 37 weeks to see how you are holding up and work on positions for labouring. We would talk about when you should be going to the hospital or birthing center and when to call me for support. Worksheets will be provided and homework will be sent along to help you and your body prepare.
